Yes, you read it right a Liver Detox! What does that mean exactly well don’t worry we will break it down for you, and the benefits behind detoxing your liver.

One of the main ways your body gets rid of toxins is through the liver.  And actually the liver is one of the hardest working organs in our body.

The liver works to detoxify our blood, produce bile to help with fat digestion, break down hormones, and store essential vitamins, and minerals.  Let’s quickly go over all live functions.

But did you know a stressed out liver causes fat and toxins to build up causing inflammation associated with obesity.

This means no matter how many calories you are restricting, weight loss is pretty hard unless you try to detox your liver.

How to Detox Liver

Now we need to know how to actually detox our liver! There a few different things we can actually do to help our detox get started.

Really try to eat and drink clean. That just means skip unhealthy foods and drinks that have corn syrup, additives, artificial color, and mainly anything processed.

Eating veggies like Brussels sprouts, cauliflowers and kale are great! They contain glucosinolates that actually bind together and get rid of toxins.

Get rid of salt entirely. Salt can actually make things worse for your liver. It contributes to fluid retention and causes your liver to have to work harder. Instead flavor foods with natural seasonings with garlic to help support your liver

Exercise, Exercise, Exercise! Try to workout as consistently as possible and as much as possible.  Best way to reduce fat is to combine diet and exercise.
